You can make 3 selections each day:

  • NAP (Napoleon) — your single best selection of the day.
  • NB (Next Best) — your next best selection for the day.
  • 3B (Third Best) — your third selection, which always counts independently each day.

📋 Rules & Regulations

  • 📊 Results are worked out using either the XSP or the odds at the time of selection, depending on whether you ticked "Take XSP" in the NAP entry dialogue.
  • đŸĨ‡ The NAP comp is win only — let's be fair, if it's a NAP you shouldn't be picking each-way! 😉
  • đŸšĢ If you have multiple non-runners among your daily selections, you won't be able to submit replacements — you'll only be scored on the selections that do run.
  • đŸ“Ŗ You must share your NAPs publicly to qualify for prizes. That means your selections are posted to Twitter/X, your X account is unlocked (public) so anyone can view your posts, and the post is not deleted. If your account is locked (private) or the post is removed, you will not qualify.

ℹī¸ RatingTheRaces is solely responsible for the selection of both ranked and randomly drawn winners of all NAP competitions.

✔ī¸ How to Qualify

📅 Weekly

Enter on at least 4 days within a given week to qualify for that week's prizes.

🗓ī¸ Monthly

Enter on at least 15 days within a given month to qualify for that month's prizes.

🌟 Special Events

Make at least one selection at that meeting on the day of the special event — think Cheltenham, Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood and the like.

⚖ī¸ Handling Dead Heats

In the event of a dead heat we apply the following rules to decide a winner — there can only be one! 🏁

  1. 🏆 Most winners.
  2. 📆 Most days played.
